Course Description
 

Mini-Symposium will examine the evaluation and management of common male health complaints. With the use of interactive case vignettes via audience response system, participants will learn to apply current guidelines and identify when a referral is optimum.

If you wish to attend, an additional Dinner Lecture geared toward urologists is available and will discuss ED in depth, identifying co-morbidities, treatment modalities and surgical techniques.

Target Audience
Primary Care Physicians, Nurses, and Physician Assistant with interest in general GU health in males.

Objectives
• Apply current guidelines for the treatment of hypogonadism, BPH, and prostatitis in practice
• Understand the different definitions of hypogonadism and their clinical application
• Identify issues regarding measures of testosterone levels
• Determine the relationship between LUTS and BPH
• Recognize association of comorbidities of hypogonadism, BPH, and prostatitis
• Review emerging therapies for hypogonadism, BPH, and prostatitis

Intensive Report on ED for the Urologist

Target Audience
Urologists and other healthcare professionals who encounter patients with erectile dysfunction.

Objectives
• Evaluate the latest methodology in the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction
• Recognize opportunities for early identification of comorbidities associated with ED
• Compare and contrast the current treatment modalities for the management of erectile dysfunction
• Discuss surgical techniques for the management of erectile dysfunction
• Enhance communication skills in discussing erectile dysfunction with patients

From the West:
Take Hwy 60 East over the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Once on the Tampa side of the bridge, turn right onto Bayport Dr/Frontage Rd This is the entrance to the hotel.

Coming from the North Via Veterens Expy:
Take SR-589 Toll (Veterans Expy) past Memorial. Take exit 2A following the signs for SR-60W to Clearwater. Stay in your right lane as exit splits. Take the ramp under overpass and at the light, stay straight on Bayport Dr/Frontage Rd. This is the entrance to the hotel.

Coming from the I-275:
Take I-275 South to Exit 39 and onto Hwy 60 West. Merge into the far left lane, following all signs to Clearwater. Continue through one traffic light and turn left at the second light which is Bayport Dr/Frontage Rd. This is the entrance to the hotel.

Coming from the East:
