| Course Description |
| |
The Advanced Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery educational activity is a bi-annual program designed to provide an in-depth review of the latest information and techniques in Gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. It is designed for clinicians who desire to advance their laparoscopic skills, and apply these skills to perform more advanced Gynecologic laparoscopic surgeries in their practices. The attendees will learn and practice these basic and advanced laparoscopic skills and techniques using laparoscopic trainers, computer simulators and animal models. As part of the registration fee, an Apple iPod touch will be given to each participant (See Details Below). It will contain all the conference presentations, a variety of surgical videos and will be an integral part of the conference. The course will include two live surgical procedures. There are only thirty-six (36) slots available for each course, so please register right away.

| Objectives |
| At the end of this conference, participants will be able to: |
- Discuss the principles of electrosurgery in laparoscopic surgery.
- Identify pelvic anatomy pertinent to a gynecologic laparoscopic surgeon.
- Perform laparoscopic suturing and knot tying.
- Explain the steps involved in performing a laparoscopic hysterectomy/myomectomy.
- Demonstrate the skills/techniques necessary to perform advanced gynecologic
laparoscopic surgery.
- Discuss the principles of robotic surgery.
- Identify methods to avoid laparoscopic complications.

| Interactive Mobile Experience |
| |
Conference participants will have the opportunity to interact with presenters and other attendees through an integrated mobile website that will provide access to presenter bios, conference presentations, surgical videos and additional links. An iPod touch will be given to each participant, however, you may bring your own iPod touch or iPhone if you have one, and receive a discount in the registration fee.
