Course Description
 

This two day program is designed to provide an indepth review of the latest information and techniques in gynecologic laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. It will incorporate didactic presentations that focus on the current status of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, endo metrial ablation and hysteroscopic sterilization for practicing gynecologists and residents in training. The course will feature didactic training in laparoscopy, including laparoscopic hysterectomy.

 

 

Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference participants will be able to:
  1. Identify pelvic anatomy pertinent to a gynecologic laparoscopic surgeon.
  2. Explain the steps involved in performing a laparoscopic
    hysterectomy/myomectomy.
  3. Identify methods to avoid laparoscopic complications.
  4. Describe the instrumentation and technique for diagnostic hysteroscopy.
  5. Discuss the indications and techniques for hysteroscopic sterilization.
  6. Identify methods of global endometrial ablation.
