| Course Description/Needs Assessment |

This one day course will be a venue for presenting the latest
information on clinical practice and research on Multiple
Sclerosis, as well as current and future treatment options.
As the treatment options for MS expand, as have the
number of new completed clinical studies. Practitioners can
benefit from a current review of the pathophysiologic basis
of MS care and how care may change in the near future. |

Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should
be able to:
- Apply new information on the immunopathogenesis
of MS when making treatment decisions.
- Enhance patient care by incorporating current and
new treatment options for MS.
- Using a case study approach, recognize when it may
be necessary to begin or modify treatment in order to
optimize patient outcomes.
- Integrate a magnetic resonance imaging strategy in
the monitoring of treatment for the MS patient.

unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such cancellation, the full registration
fee will be refunded. The University of South Florida CPD Office will not be
responsible for travel expenses incurred by the participant in case of cancellation. |

A block of rooms has been reserved for this meeting at the special rate of $325
(March 28th) and $399 (March 29th) per night plus applicable sales tax, currently 14% for single/double occupancy and the Atlantic City Hotel Room Use Fee of
$5 per room per night. These special rates are valid for March 28-29, 2008 only.
Individual rooms cancelled less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to arrival time will
forfeit deposit of first and last night’s room and tax. After March 10, 2008, rooms
will be on a space available basis only at the prevailing rate.
The Hotel offers ample parking in their valet and self parking for 7,100 vehicles.
There is a State imposed $5 minimum charge per 24-hour period for each motor
vehicle self-parked on the premises. Each time the vehicle leaves the parking lot,
there is a $5 charge. Valet parking is $5 per day.

Directions
From Philadelphia: Exit Pennsylvania Turnpike at Valley Forge Exit 24, onto
Schuykill Expressway (I-76 East) through Philadelphia to the Walt Whitman Bridge.
I-76 East becomes NJ-42 South. NJ-42 South bears left into Atlantic City Expressway
East. Continue east on the Expressway. Take Exit #1 toward the Convention Center/Marina/Brigantine. Proceed through the Atlantic City/Brigantine Connector. Turn
left at Renaissance Pointe/Borgata Exit. (Approximately 55 miles.)
From New York and the North: Major Interstate Highways connect with the Garden
State Parkway South. Follow Garden State Parkway South to Exit 38 (Atlantic City
Expressway). Take Exit #1 toward the Convention Center/Marina/Brigantine.
Proceed through the Atlantic City/Brigantine Connector. Turn left at Renaissance
Pointe/Borgata Exit. (Approximately 132 miles.)
From Baltimore, Washington and the South: Take I-95 to the Walt Whitman Bridge
(Philadelphia) and continue east. Stay to your left for the NJ-42 South. NJ-42 South
bears left into the Atlantic City Expressway East. Take Exit City/Brigantine Connector.
Turn left at Renaissance Pointe/Borgata Exit. (Approximately 178 miles.)
From the Norfolk area: Follow Rt 13 and 9 to Cape May-Lewes Ferry, then Garden
State Parkway North to Exit 38 (Atlantic City Expressway). Take Exit #1 toward
the Convention Center/Marina/Brigantine. Proceed through the Atlantic City/Brigantine Connector. Turn left at Renaissance Pointe/Borgata Exit. (Approximately
