Target Audience

Anesthesiologists, Physiatrists, Neurologists, Orthopedists, Radiologists and other physicians interested in advancing their skill and knowledge of interventional pain management.

 


Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Increase their knowledge of the indications and contraindications of interventional pain procedures.
  • Identify spinal anatomy and associated structures by fluoroscope.
  • Understand potential risks and complications of interventional pain procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in performing interventional pain procedures in cadaver workshop.
  • Understand the correct coding, billing and reimbursement for compliance.
 


Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of USF Health and Pain Management Training Seminars. USF Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

USF Health designates this educational activity for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Basic Course, 9 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Intermediate Course, and 9 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Advanced Course. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy: Do not make travel arrangements until you have received confirmation into the course. We accept no responsibility for hotel or airfare which must be cancelled.

Pain Management Training Seminars reserves the right to cancel a course date upon reasonable notice and will assume no financial obligation to registrants for reasons beyond its control. Registration fees will be refunded, however, transportation and other expenses incurred are the responsibility of the registrant.

Registrants not confirmed within 7 days of the course will be notified by mail and refunded the registration fee. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the course for a refund.
