| Gap Analysis |
Vaginal vault prolapse is a common complication following vaginal hysterectomy with subsequent negative impact on women's quality of life due to associated urinary, anorectal and sexual dysfunction. Advanced surgical techniques have been developed at the time of hysterectomy to prevent vault prolapse. This course will address robotic approaches to vault suspension and management of complications including paravaginal repair, uterasacral ligament suspension (USL) and sacrococlpopexy. This course includes didactic lecture, video and full case observation. |
| |
 |
|
| Target Audience |
General gynecologists performing robotic hysterectomy and vaginal vault suspension who have completed a minimum of 10 cases and have a dedicated team for robotic surgery.
|
| |
 |
|
| Objectives |
- Recognize risk of prolapse following hysterectomy
- Identify appropriate vaginal vault suspensions techniques at the time of robotic hysterectomy
- Select appropriate robotic vault suspension methods based on patient factors and surgeon capabilities

| Course Evaluation and Outcomes Measurement |
| |
The evaluation process is a critical component in our strategy to offer excellence in our future conferences and to ensure we are addressing the educational needs of our audience. Your comments and feedback make a difference! Please complete the evaluation forms, which will be distributed on-site, and return them to either the session facilitator or the registration desk.
In addition, we measure the outcome of the education using a post-event survey sent via e-mail. The results of this survey are equally important as we need to know if the education made a difference, be it in awareness, practice change, health outcomes, or all the above. Please complete the survey when it comes to your in-box approximately 6 weeks after the conclusion of the conference. |
