A Conference for Scholars Interested in Research on Research Integrity: Policy Studies, Behavioral Analysis, Law, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Education, Biomedical Sciences, Information Science, and other related areas.

Keynote Speaker
 

Ana Marušic, MD, PhD, Zagreb, Croatia

Dr Marušic is a former president of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) - a dynamic virtual organization whose trajectory is documented on their web page-and presently Vice President of the Council of Science Editors. As editor of the Croatian Medical Journal, Dr. Marušic has been instrumental in implementing an approach to peer review that serves to mentor young scientists, helping to create a critical mass of researchers in her region who publish successfully. She publishes widely, not only within her medical specialty, but also on issues relating to medical publishing and education and research on research integrity. She is the Editor in Chief of the Croatian Medical Journal http://www.cmj.hr/

Registration Fees: $250

Registration fees cover conference materials, all meals and breaks, except for Saturday dinner.

Guest fee for Friday night reception and dinner: $50pp

The room rate is $84 plus 12% tax. The group rate is available until the October 30, 2006 cut off date. Reservations requested after the cut off date will be quoted at the available market rate. Please identify yourself as belonging to the ORI meeting.

Tampa International Airport is the closest airport. From the airport you can catch the Super Shuttle for approximately $20. No reservation is needed. A taxi ride is approximately $40.
